APS Parking Lot

HEB was selected by the NHDOT to help eliminate serious parking lot overcrowding at the NH State Hospital. In Phase I, HEB designed a small 48-car lot on the Hospital Loop Road in order to provide some immediate relief. HEB then went on to provide schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration for a new 122-space parking lot and upgrade of the existing 230-space lot. Eight different design schemes and associated cost estimates were prepared for consideration. Budget constraints required that the existing parking area merely be overlaid with one inch of pavement, while the new 122-space lot was constructed.
